Typical Fee Amounts
When we estimate our fees, we take into account the scale and complexity of a project, along with the level of service required.
The figures below represent what our fees would typically be as a percentage of the total project budget:
Commercial Architecture
Design & Planning

Commercial projects are often task specific and require thorough analysis at an early stage - our fees for such projects are slightly higher than those for domestic projects.
Site Visits and Meetings
As standard practice, we allow for a number site visits and meetings in our standard quotation. The fees for additional site visits and meetings are also provided in our quotations, and are in accordance with our hourly rates.
Third-Party Fees
Our fees cover the services provided by ourselves and exclude any third-party fees, such as Planning and Building Control fees, Build Over Agreement fees, Party Wall Surveyors' fees, etc. Those are to be paid directly by the client to the relevant body/consultant.
Payments
As standard, we accept payments in two equal parts - a 50% deposit payment at the time of our appointment and a payment of the remaining fee upon completion of the design documentation and prior to Planning/Building Control submission. An alternative payments schedule can be arranged, subject to the nature of the project and client circumstances.
