The proposed scheme is a result of aiming for achieving the maximum while also respecting the site conditions. The existing house was to be retained as is, with the exception of the Ground Floor Internal Alterations. Adding to the benefits of Permitted Development, the scheme also took advantage of the Prior Approval for Larger Home Extensions (also known as the Neighbour Consultation Scheme), to permit the development of a 6-metre deep single-storey Rear Extension with no Planning Approval needed.
